Fighting to cure Crohn's & Colitis

Our main goal is to find a CURE for Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. We want to raise awareness of Inflammatory Bowel Disease and stamp out the stigma related to it, but we need you to help us to do this!

ALL money raised by #IBDSuperHeroes is invested into patient-centric research, to improve the lives of those with IBD and ultimately, find a cure.

We are fundraising on behalf of UK charity, Cure Crohn’s Colitis, who invest 100% of donations to research projects THROUGHOUT THE UK. The charity is voluntarily run and always will be. They work tirelessly, and for free because they have all been affected by IBD in some way; personally, professionally or have watched someone they care about fight this debilitating, and so far INCURABLE disease.

“Cure Crohn’s Colitis has the sole objective of raising money to help fund research into curing Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. Every penny we raise goes directly to funding these research projects. All of our members are unpaid volunteers who pay for any admin costs out of their own pocket.”

Together we are stronger.
Together we can fight harder.
Together – we CAN be HEROES!

If you have a passion for raising funds and awareness for IBD then please do join us! After all... not all superheroes wear capes.

How YOU can help raise money!

The project is run by the group members, involving them in every aspect of the fundraising and helping us drive our mission forward. Every quarter there's a pinned post (pinned at the top of the group) for members to add their fundraising and awareness raising ideas to. At the end of each quarter we have a poll which members can use to vote for their favourite ideas. The winner will be announced and group members can then have as much or as little involvement as they like in the planning and co-ordination.

If you are running an independent event/fundraiser for #IBDSuperHeroes and would like our support, just let us know so we can promote it! If you have already run an event and collected money offline, when you upload it to our JustGiving page, please put your name and the fundraiser name on the donation and drop us a message on Facebook so we can give you a shout out on our social media accounts!

  1. There are many people who are suffering from some or other diseases and to cure those diseases they usually do many efforts. Crohn’s disease is one of them and almost 20-30 percent people are suffering from this condition. Crohn’s disease is the inflammation of the digestive track. If you want to understand more about this condition, you should visit this site.
